I grew up in an artistic family, surrounded by making and mess, and have been drawn to painting, drawing, and photography for as long as I can remember. More recently, ceramics snuck its way in and refuses to leave. For a long time, I treated art like a side hobby—something I loved but didn’t believe could fully support me. Sharing my work slowly changed that. By following curiosity and leaning into what I love, I’m learning that art can be both sustaining and expansive, making room to take creative risks and push my practice further.

I currently live in the Chicagoland area with my husband and our puppy, Bean, where Belly Bodega continues to grow.
