Welcome to Originals!
Original works are one-of-a-kind objects shaped by repetition, impulse, and lived time. Paint is layered, scraped, reworked, and left unresolved—marks accumulate as evidence of attention, mood, and moment. These pieces are not refined toward perfection but allowed to remain tender, unruly, and honest. An original holds a physical presence that can’t be translated or repeated: a surface that carries touch, hesitation, and care, asking to be lived with slowly, the way everyday routines are.
MY STYLE
Enjoy!
I work with bold, often heightened color and loose, insistent linework, allowing marks to remain visible and imperfect. Process is an essential part of the meaning: brushstrokes, revisions, and texture are left intact as evidence of time, attention, and feeling. Rather than aiming for realism or polish, I prioritize emotional accuracy—how something feels to look at, hold, or live with.
Ultimately, my paintings are about presence—paying attention to small moments, ordinary beauty, and the emotional residue of everyday life. They invite viewers to slow down and recognize themselves in the familiar.
